Project Overview

The game was specifically designed to offer a personalized learning experience, adapting to the player’s skill level. As children improve their math abilities, the game automatically adjusts the difficulty by presenting more challenging questions. This dynamic adaptation ensures that players are always challenged without feeling overwhelmed, making the learning process both effective and enjoyable.

Visual UI

Visual UI Diagrams for Better Understanding

One of the key features of the game is its use of visual UI diagrams instead of traditional text-based explanations. By providing graphical representations of math concepts, children are able to visually understand the problems they’re solving. This approach is especially helpful for younger players who may find text-heavy instructions difficult to follow. The visual aids also make it easier for children to grasp their mistakes, turning errors into learning opportunities rather than setbacks.

Interactive Difficulty and Encouragement

Interactive Difficulty

Instead of simply providing the correct answer, the UI guides the player step by step through the solution, helping the child understand the reasoning behind it. This approach promotes active engagement in the problem-solving process. Players are allowed two mistakes before losing a life, which reduces pressure and fosters a more relaxed, learner-friendly environment. To further enhance the experience, the code adapts upcoming questions based on previous mistakes, selecting from a weighted pool of questions sorted by difficulty.
